ASSA 24 - Autumn School Series in Acoustics (4-8 November 2024, Eindhoven, NL)

Autumn School Series in Acoustics (ASSA) is a yearly-returning one-week school on a post-graduate Ph.D. level held at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e). The school is organized by TU/e Building Acoustics group and contains various topics related to the fundamentals of sound and its applications and methods for sound to the built environment (ranging from environmental noise in cities to concert-hall acoustics), with lecturers from various research institutes. The topics of the school change in a two-year cycle and every year there are two parallel schools in the same week. In 2024, the schools are organised together with the Technical Committees on Computational Acoustics and Room and Building Acoustics from the European Acoustics Association EAA.

The school has the character to be a high-quality yearly returning event with the same structure and layout, where young researchers get trained and moreover have the opportunity to enlarge their network by meeting fellow young researchers.
