promote international cooperation within different specific fields of acoustics, provide assistance in organizing EAA events, suggest special issues for Acta Acustica or Acoustics in Practice, initiate studies and prepare documents such as strategies, policy statements, state-of-the-art assessments, reports, etc, within its defined technical field.

Schola

EAA Schola – the online study guide of acoustics in Europe is an online guide provided by the European Acoustics Association (EAA) to help students and young researchers find information about acoustics education and university programmes in Europe.

The Schola provides information on acoustics courses, degree programmes, study paths, universities and institutions offering education in acoustics, as well as information on areas of acoustics research and student exchange opportunities. It is designed to make it easier for students interested in acoustics to discover where and how they can study acoustics in Europe.

Adding, updating or removing a course

Universities and other educational institutions can request the insertion of a new course, or request the update or removal of an existing course from the EAA Schola.

The European Acoustics Association (EAA) is a non-profit entity established in 1992 that includes in its membership societies predominantly in European countries interested in to promote development and progress of acoustics in its different aspects, its technologies and applications. EAA gathers 33 societies of acoustics and serves more than 9000 individual members all over Europe.
