promote international cooperation within different specific fields of acoustics, provide assistance in organizing EAA events, suggest special issues for Acta Acustica or Acoustics in Practice, initiate studies and prepare documents such as strategies, policy statements, state-of-the-art assessments, reports, etc, within its defined technical field.

Audio Signal Processing

The aim of the TC in audio signal processing is to bring together researchers and professionals in acoustics and signal processing within Europe and overseas, to enhance collaboration and promote audio signal processing.


Specific objectives

  • Organise special sessions in EAA conferences.
  • Collaborate with IEEE and EURASIP to propose joint special sessions in EAA, IEEE and EURASIP conferences.
  • Propose special issues in Acta Acustica in the area of audio signal processing.
  • Support other initiative related to audio signal processing.
