promote international cooperation within different specific fields of acoustics, provide assistance in organizing EAA events, suggest special issues for Acta Acustica or Acoustics in Practice, initiate studies and prepare documents such as strategies, policy statements, state-of-the-art assessments, reports, etc, within its defined technical field.

Several Topical Issues on topics covered during Forum Acusticum 2023, the 10th Convention of the European Acoustics Association (EAA), that took place from 11 to 15 September 2023, at the Politecnico di Torino, Italy, will be published in Acta Acustica as well as in other international acoustics journals.

Submissions are now opened in Acta Acustica for the first Topical Issue on "Numerical, computational and theoretical acoustics".

The Editors will invite a limited number of presenters at Forum Acusticum 2023 to submit a paper, on the basis of the impact and novelty of their presentation and conference papers.
