EAA Summer School
The EAA Summer School 2025 provides a unique educational experience for students and early-career professionals in acoustics. Taking place just before the Forum Acusticum - Euronoise 2025 conference, this event is an excellent opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge and engage with leading experts in the field.
The program will cover both Fundamentals in Acoustics and emerging hot topics. Participants will benefit from lectures on essential principles while also exploring cutting-edge research areas such as:

FORUM LABORIS
We are excited to announce Forum Laboris, a satellite event of Forum Acusticum / Euronoise 2025, which will take place in Málaga, Spain, from June 23rd to 26th, 2025. This on-site event is specifically designed for young acousticians looking to connect with potential employers , as well as companies seeking new talent.
What is Forum Laboris?
Forum Laboris offers an exceptional chance for young acousticians to engage directly with employers and get insights into the diverse work environments in acoustics. Whether you're looking to explore research opportunities or consider roles in companies, Forum Laboris is the place to establish valuable professional connections. This event will feature two main parts:
- Employers’ Introduction Pitches (approx. 60 minutes): Employers will provide a quick overview of their companies or institutions, highlighting their specialties and technical focus areas.
- Speed-Dating Sessions (approx. 90-120 minutes): A dynamic and interactive session where job seekers can engage with employers through brief 10-minute meetings. This is a fantastic opportunity for acousticians to present themselves and initiate networking with potential employers. Please note, this is not a formal job interview, but rather a way to begin building connections.

Best Student Paper Award for Forum Acusticum/Euronoise 2025
The Best Student Paper Award, funded by the HEAD-Genuit Foundation, grants €500 to six winners.
Key Information:
- Open to students or young researchers under 35 (as of December 31, 2025).
- Applicants must be the first author of a paper presented at FA2025.

EAA Event Endorsement
The European Acoustics Association (EAA) endorses events that meet its rigorous standards in the field of acoustics. This recognition is extended to National Conferences and thematic gatherings focusing on acoustics, adding value and credibility to these initiatives.
Organizers seeking EAA endorsement should submit an application to the EAA Board, ensuring it reaches us at least six (6) months before the scheduled event date. The application should provide comprehensive details, including the venue, scope, expected number of participants, and a clear articulation of the European added value. If the event is not organized by a National Society, approval from the corresponding Society where the event will be hosted is mandatory.
Following the submission, the EAA Board commits to providing a decision within 30 days. Successful endorsements will be featured in the EAA Newsletter, on the official EAA website, and periodically on the EAA Social Media channels. It's important to note that endorsed events while enjoying heightened visibility, do not entail administrative or financial support from the EAA.
This initiative underscores the EAA's commitment to fostering excellence in the realm of acoustics and providing a distinguished platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration.
