"This lecture provides an overview on various acoustical methods of medical diagnosis and therapy. The students get an insight into the fundamentals of the physiology of hearing and binaural technology, enabling them to analyze and evaluate the underlying complex processes of binaural hearing. After completing this lecture, students are further capable of understanding and applying various biomedical applications in the field of acoustics, such as hearing aid technology, ultrasound diagnosis and treatment.
