  • Roland Badeau
Type
Lecture
Term
winter semester
Subject type
Optional
Study path
Master of Engineering / Master of Information Technology
Specialisation/branch
Eng-AC / Info-SAR - Acoustics, Signal Analysis and Information Technology Applied to Music (ATIAM)
Keywords
focuses on basic notions in deterministic signal processing, in continuous time as well as in discrete time, i.e. on Fourier representations and classical digital filtering techniques; provides students with representation and processing tools specific to digital audio signals: Filter-banks and relationship with wavelets - Time-frequency representations (Short Time Fourier Transform STFT and Wigner-Wille distribution) - Introduction to time-scale representations - Modeling discrete time random signals (representation of second order processes) - Modeling random signals (autoregressive moving average filtering ARMA).
