"Acta Acustica united with Acustica" articles in open access

Since 2020, the "Acta Acustica" is published in the "Open Access" format by EDP Sciences and the EAA. The older issues of "Acta Acustica united with Acustica" (1951-2019), published by Hirzel-Verlag and the EAA, were not available on the Internet during a lengthy conversion period.

All articles from 1951 to 2019 are now freely accessible in "open access" format. In the long term, these will be integrated into the new EAA archive "Documenta Acustica Electronica Library" (DAEL), which will be published in a few months. Until then, the articles can be downloaded from the following temporary website:

• the Slovenian Acoustical Society (SDA) (SDA) on behalf of the Alps Adria Acoustics Association (AAAA) is organizeing the 10th Congress of the Alps Adria Acoustics Association from the 20th to the 21st of September 2023 in Izola (Slovenia). • News from Italy (AIA), Greece (HEL.IN.A.) & the Symposiums “The Acoustics of Ancient Theatres”:

AIA, in agrement with HEL.IN.A. provides indexation for all papers presented at the Symposiums "“The Acoustics of Ancient Theatres” in 2011 & 2022 by buying "doi" numbers for all papers, and by providing a dedicated website: www.eaa-saat.eu

The website can also be used for future editions of this EAA Symposium that AIA, together with the TC-RBA of the EAA and other national acoustic associations, would like to propose at regular intervals. AIA will obviously take care of the quality of the presentation and graphics of the website and will pay for all corresponding expenses.

Volunteers needed for EAA DAEL (Documenta Acustica Eletronica)

We are looking for volunteers to enter the EAA DAEL (Documenta Acustica Eletronica) evaluation committee.

The evaluation committee will have to fail-proof the platform before it goes public. Read more about this call.
