Forum Acusticum 2023: A Resounding Success
From the 11th to the 15th of September, Turin, Italy, played host to Forum Acusticum 2023, an exceptional gathering that brought together acousticians, researchers, and enthusiasts from across the globe. With a total of 1,250 participants, this event marked a significant milestone in the world of acoustics.

These articles covered a wide spectrum of acoustic topics and were delivered through both oral and poster presentations. EAA Mentoring Program
The European Acoustics Association is delighted to announce the success of its mentoring program's initial phase. Last summer, the program saw the establishment of seven mentor-mentee pairs, laying a strong foundation for knowledge exchange and professional development within the acoustics community.
Further enhancing the program's efficacy, an in-person meeting took place during Forum Acusticum 2023, reinforcing the commitment to mentorship within the EAA. "Acta Acustica united with Acustica" articles in open access
Since 2020, the "Acta Acustica" is published in the "Open Access" format by EDP Sciences and the EAA. The older issues of "Acta Acustica united with Acustica" (1951-2019), published by Hirzel-Verlag and the EAA, were not available on the Internet during a lengthy conversion period.
All articles from 1951 to 2019 are now freely accessible in "open access" format. In the long term, these will be integrated into the new EAA archive "Documenta Acustica Electronica Library" (DAEL), which will be published in a few months.
